Primary treats

We drop off a treat to the door of a Primary child who we have not seen at church for awhile. We get a small 1000 Grand candy bar and tape it to a colored cardstock piece of paper with the saying: "You are of great worth. We miss seeing you in Primary".

Another idea we have is we deliver something to the child who is the most reverent in Sharingtime that week, for the Jr. and Sr. Primary. (one from each) (we do praise all the children for their reverence, and let them know that they will all get a turn to receive a treat at their door. We keep track of the children that we do.) One of us in the Presidency will drop off a card with a little magnet on the back that reads," Thank you for "chewzing" to be reverent". And we give them a pack of gum with it. (we also put a sticker of the Savior on the card) If the child is home, we give it to them personally in front of their parents, and tell them what a great example they are to the others in the primary, etc. I usually get emotional every time I do this. It is always a spiritual experience for me.
