Enjoy the Journey

We had our RS Birthday dinner on Tuesday. Our theme was Enjoy the Journey, which is our theme for this year. Before hand, we collected baby or youth pictures from our sister's and young women because they were invited also. I digital scrap booked all the pictures and dropped them in a power point slide show and numbered them. It was so much fun collecting and guessing the pictures. I had an absolute blast!!! We had different sister's decorate the tables in various times....from when the RS began to present. We had a display table with old pictures, antiques, old trunks etc. We played the slide show thru dinner and had numbered paper's and pencils on the tables so they could guess during dinner. We had a wonderful speaker talk to us about enjoying the journey from girl to womanhood in the gospel. She brought such a great spirit. We then went thru the slideshow again and told who all the pictures were and the ladies had a blast. The winner who guessed the most got an enjoy the journey pillow. Their reaction was just what I had hoped for and we had a great turnout! Collecting the pictures was a big job but worth every second!!!
