I have many ask will this web site keep going, are thing up to date, can I contribute, the answer is YES, to everything, ok well almost, I try to keep this site updated, but as with all of us life is busy, and I do have a life beyond this site, I have no plans on ending anytime soon, and if I do stop updating I promise to place a note on my site saying so. Many have asked if they can contribute, the answer is YES!! Please send anything and everything my way, the name The "IDEA" Door, is just that, open a door to a "world" of ideas, the best way to get ideas is from everyone, I know not everything I do or have on this site right now is want everyone is looking for, but if everyone who has an ideas, or a handout or something to share sent them in, can you image how huge this site would be. We all would have so much to choose from. So if you would like to share, please send it to me by email to info@theideadoor.com I would also love to offer more in other langue's, if you have something you can send in please do, or if you speak another langue and can translate, please email me.  Please remember this web site is FREE for all to use and gain ideas from, I don't ask for any donations or subscription payments, just print away, copy away and enjoy! (Although I do now have a "Clipart Page" where I do offer clipart for a small charge.) Thanks to many generous people for sharing their ideas and talents with us, because of these people this web site has MANY things, Please remember if you are having problems printing something or opening something go to our helps page, the best way to print things are to print from the PDF file, not from the image, and make sure you sign our Guest Book, I'd love to hear from you.

Book of Mormon reading challenge

Book of Mormon reading challenge

Starting like in January the youth was given the challenge to read the book of Mormon. We would get certain points on how much of it we finished by the first of June. We chose whether or not we wanted to read. Once we were to a certain point we got a coin. We had NO clue what these coins were for, but it was our choice whether or not we wanted these coins and whether or not we would read the book of Mormon. I have no clue why I didn't read, but I didn't, and come to find out when Youth Conference came I had wished that I had read my scriptures.

We went up to Bear Lake for youth conference. We were going to camp out a couple nights and then the last night there we were going to have a "special" activity before testimony meeting. Well we all had our fun and then the last day we were there we found out what the
coins were for. They were for what we would be able to eat for dinner that night.

We were all divided into 3 different groups, depending on how many coins we had. There was the Telestial group, the Terrestrial group, and the Celestial group. Because I had very few coins and didn't really even read the scriptures I was in the bottom group. I was heading off to the Telestial world. Each group was taken to a different place for dinner, and no one knew where each other were going until after the experience. We ended up on a beach, were given matches to start a fire, and hot dogs, and buns, and a few cans of beans. We had to search the beach for our wood to start the fire, and we had to find sticks to cook the hot dogs, and they had hidden on the beach a can opener for us to open our cans of beans, and tinsels to eat them with. We put those right in the fire, and then cook our hotdogs on sticks. We did have a nice time, but I can tell you the meal wasn't that good.

We found out later that the people taken to the Terrestrial world were given a bbq grill, hugger patty's or chicken, buns, all the fixings, chips, salads of different sorts, the normal BBQ food. And the Celestial World was taken to a nice restaurant, and had steak and
lobster.

Later at Testimony meeting we had all learned a lot, and that it was our choice to go to whatever world we wanted to go to, but what we get when we are there is not going to be the same as everywhere else.

It was a great Youth Conference. Something I'm going to always remember.
