Road Rally

We did this one night with all of the YW.  We broke them into their age
groups--Beehives, MiaMaids, Laurels.  Prior to leaving the church, each group
made a list of 10 things to find/do.  Then the President took those lists and
gave the Beehives list to the Laurels, the MiaMaids list to the Beehives, and
the Laurels list to the MiaMaids.  The rules were simple.....we had to stay
within the ward or stake boundaries and meet back at the church in 45
minutes.  It was a hoot!

Some of the "things" we (the MiaMaids) were looking for were:  a lifeguard at a pool (we have a recreation center here), someone named "John", a person getting their hair cut, someone scooping ice cream into a cone.  Some ideas that the MiaMaids wrote down for the other group to do were alot worse!  They were--videotape the group in a grocery store singing a song (I can't remember which one they chose), go through the drive-thru at McDonalds and ask for free french fries, go to Sis. ?? house and sing "I Honestly Love You" to the whole family, etc.

Our intentions were to watch them at the end of the night, but time got away with us.  We took a few minutes at the beginning of YW the following week and watched the videos from each group--3 videos totaling about 10 minutes.  It was pretty funny.
