My very own Editor

I want to thank Kerry Haack for helping me, by being an editor for this site. At this time she is just trying to go back through all the pages I have and see if they need some help (which I am sure they will). She is only editing the text on the website not the files!

Thanks so much Kerry!

Cub Scout Monthly Themes for
2006-2007

NOVEMBER 2006 - Cubs in Shining Armor
Welcome new "Cub Knights" into the roundtable of the den and pack. Scouts learn about chivalry, the rules of the roundtable, and period art, making their own costumes and coat of arms. Discover life as it was in the days of knights and castles. Scouts may be "knighted" as they advance from one rank to the next.
DECEMBER 2006 - Cub Scout Stars
Learn of the constellations and the stars which light up our skies. Go star gazing or visit a planetarium in your area. Remember that the stars above are not the only shining stars -- Scouts can shine as well. They may offer service to others, and help the pack go by participating in skits, songs and ceremonies at the pack meeting.
JANUARY 2007 - Poles Apart
Learn about the North and South Poles -- places where cold and ice are present 365 days a year! Learn about the brave explorers who traveled to the ends of our earth. Earn the Map & Compass belt loop and pin; practice with a compass and map; give directions to your home and school. Experiment with magnets and polarity. Discover the plants and animals that make the icy poles of the Arctic and Antarctic their home.
