Adventures of the Treasure seekers..

We sole part of this idea from a VBS (Vacation Bible School) It’s called Adventures of the Treasure seekers.. here is a link to the website & they have free decorating ideas & clip art.
Basicly the church is decorated like an archaeological dig site & the kids are archaeologist looking for God’s promises. http://www.cokesburyvbs.com/index.php
We choose 5 classes & playing in sand or bird seed for the sunbeams
Each class will talk about the subject read the promise & do an activity
Word of wisdom – Relay races w/plastic food
Sabbath day – Sunday activity book
Treasure hunt – words of the prophets
Scriptures – Plaster paris w/ hinden toys inside you need tarps to cover the room or go outside.
Rainbow – Art project (glue on colored sand)
We are having corn dogs, chips, & dirt pudding for lunch
We will also hand out the journal of promises at the end
