Eye Spy Bottles

I like to use the Sobe drink bottles or a bottle that has a little fancy shape to it. You fill the bottle with the little things to spy…examples….safety pin, marble, tack, bell, . We have a store in town that sells little cheap things in bins like erasers, small 10 cent toys etc. You just use 15 to 20 small things. Fill the bottle with birdseed alternating with the items so they mix in well, (I like the look of bird seed since it has more color to it and it makes finding the items more challenging.) Make sure that you don’t fill the bottle so full that the stuff inside can’t move around.
You replace cap and tie a piece of raffia or ribbon around the lip with a tag that has all of the items to find printed on it. It is actually kind of attractive sitting on a shelf. I have found that kids of all ages think it is really cool, my teenagers even like it.

You could be really creative to match bedrooms and such by using aquarium rocks or beads of some sort….just a thought…Good luck, it is so easy!
